Help Us GrowIf you're wondering what the advertising budget is for CCAG, you're only seeing half of it when you look at the website. The other half you see every time you look in the mirror. Without your help, we won't... We can't grow. Place a Link to Our Homepage on Your SiteOne of the best ways to help us grow is to put a link to our homepage on your classic computing and gaming website. Right click on our banner below to get the permanent name and address for it. Then, post it to your site with a link to us, www.ccagshow.com. (We will update the banner for every show and you won't have to download it.)
Download and Distribute our FlyerClick on this link and download our current flyer. Then print, get permission from wherever you're going to distribute it, and distribute away! :) Post, Post, and Post S'moreWe cannot possibly post about the show's existence to every board and website there is out there. There are too many of them and too few CCAG Committee members! If you are a member of a discussion board, website, user group, and so on where there is an interest in classic gaming and computing, please mention our current show date and homepage, www.ccagshow.com, in a polite post. Donate Cold Hard CashCCAG runs on donations of time and money from everyone involved. Hours and hours of time to do all the things that keep the show running. Hundreds and hundreds of dollars to pay for the hall, the postcards we send out to all previous attendees, web hosting, and materials like paper, pens, tape, postage, and so on and on. We know that many of you who attend just don't have the hours to give, but if you can give a few bucks - not a lot, just a few - they will go very far in guaranteeing the show's future! We Need Help in Becoming a Non-Profit OrganizationThe CCAG Committee is looking into becoming a registered non-profit organization in the state of Ohio recognized by the IRS. This opens a number of doors for us including less expensive mailings, tax deductible donations from other organizations, the ability for sponsors to write off gifts to us for our shows, and increasing our ability to hold shows and promote classic computing and gaming interests in the area and around the world. However, the CCAG Committee has not one attorney in the bunch. Not a single one. Therefore, we are in desperate need of someone who can help us pro-bono to help us complete the forms and understand what we must file with who to make this happen. Failing this, we need to raise approximately $1000 to hire an attorney to do this for us.
